Hello. This is the second session of ‘Dr. Tomato Protocol’.
The second cause for autism: autonomic dysregulation disorder,
Digestive disorder, sleep instability, impulse control disorder
In the last session, I went over that the first reason autism spectrum disorder is formed is because of sensory process disorder that comes from damage in the brainstem.
Today’s topic is the second reason why autism spectrum disorder is created.
I want to say that dysregulation disorder that comes from hypothalamus damage is the second reason.
The first of the four symptoms of dysregulation disorder is mental defects.
Second, digestive disorder, third, sleep instability, and fourth, impulse control disorder. When these four come together, it causes a lot of trouble for the child to develop social skills.
Only when these four problems are perfectly solved, the child can enter complete social development.
Sensory processing disorder mainly becomes a serious problem for kids with severe autism.
When it comes to kids with aspurger’s syndrome, their sensory processing disorder tends to be less severe.
Instead, dysregulation disorder stands out as the main problem.
Therefore, we can only say that a child is cured and ready for full social development when both sensory processing disorder and dysregulation disorder are solved.
I will explain the four disorders.
The first disorder is the anxiety, or fear disorder.
Kids with autism, including aspurger’s syndrome, have a very sensitive reaction towards fear.
This was confirmed through MRI.
Their amyglada tissue is bloated compared to normal.
A bloated amyglada tissue means that there are repeated sets of sensitive reaction towards fear.
I think that kids with autism are not born with bloated amyglada.
As reaction to fear grows, and as the amyglada tissue, or autonomic nervous system, becomes unstable, the ability to control fear significantly decreases.
This results in sensitive reaction.
This result has created the bloating of amyglada.
With this reaction, it is very hard to develop sociability.
For example, when the parents say something a little loud, the child will feel a sense of fear from it.
When the child responds to the opponent’s will with excessive fear, sympathetic activities becomes very hard to do.
This is why in order to overcome autism spectrum disorder, fear must be overcome and the child must be in a stable emotional state.
The way of evaluating a child who successfully overcame fear by getting their autonomic nervous system recovered is beyond ‘it got better’.
Overcoming autism is shown beyond the ability to control fear. They show behaviors of a troublemaker.
Showing troublemaker behaviors itself means that a child has fully overcome autonomic nervous system disorder, especially if it is a boy.
This is why when kids become better, instead of staying in the passive level of just overcoming fear, I say that becoming a troublemaker is a very good response.
Second, kids with autism have digestive disorder.
It is well known that there are various digestive disorders such as stomach pain, diarrhea, and constipation.
A lot of parents say that my child is fine.
Indeed, kids are unable to express mild digestive disorders.
They just feel it a little uncomfortable.
For example, a child with chronic digestive upset can often lie down flat.
With their hands and feet cold.
Other things that show up when a child’s digestive abilities are not working well include increased allergic reaction to food caused from inflammatory response from the intestines
