Hello. This is the fourth session of ‘Dr. Tomato Protocol’.
Today’s session is very important.
This can be said as one of the most important sessions of the overall program.
Topic: Understanding the three symptoms of sensory processing disorder: an essential cause of autism.
Although this session is long, you should watch it until the end because it is very important to do so.
You have to go through the whole thing in order to understand how a child is treated and becomes better.
Not being able to understand that can cause confusion.
So make sure to watch the session several times and completely understand everything.
Only then you can use the tomato protocol to treat kids.
For a long time, I have claimed that autism is caused by sensory processing disorder which is caused by damage to the brainstem.
A book published in 2017 called ‘Autism Can be Overcome’ states this clearly.
And then, when I read an article written by Susan Schmid, a professor at Canada’s Western Ontario college’s department of neurobiology,
at 2019, it made almost the exact same claims.
She also thought that autism comes from damage to the brainstem, and wrote an article that claimed that sensory process disability caused by damage to the brainstem causes autism.
Hir claims perfectly match my claims.
And this should be correct. Going into more detail,
in the brain, areas of sensory and movement are divided, and damage to the sensory areas is the main problem.
Sense organs such as eyes, nose, and ears, process tectile, auditory, visual, and vestibular sense.
This process goes through the brainstem before reaching the cerebral cortex.
In the brainstem. necesary information are inflated and/or weakened and are sent to the cerebral cortex with the appropriate format.
However, damage to the brainstem causes the process of inflation and weakening to halt.
Because of that, incorrectly processed information reaches the cerebral cortex, which causes confusion.
We know this because there are close to zero cases of autism where sight, hearing, or any single sense is the only problem.
Since all the senses malfunction together, it can be assumed that the brainstem, which controls all sensory processing, has problems.
I divided the types of sensory process disorder into three different types.
Input impairment, output impairment(apraxia+disfraxia+sequencing disorder), and absorption. You need to understand all three to its finest details.
Instead of creating a separate video, I will explain the necesary facts about the three impairment through editing.
So if you listen through this entire session carefully, you should be able to understand the three impairments enough.
The most important term to understand is sensory process disorder.
You must understand sensory process disorder in orser to understand the status of kids with problems and understand the general action patterns of them.
To explain sensory process disorder in one phrase,
kids with autism see different and hear different compared to us.
That is how I explain this. ‘They hear different and see different.’
I’m saying that those kids are viewing the world differently as their parents do.
They are hearing the world in a completely different way compared to their parents. You need to understand that.
Cases of being unable to maintain eye contact at all or for long enough and not showing interest towards other people can all be viewed as ‘seeing different’.
These phenomenons happen because for the kids, they see things as weird.
For hearing different..
